Welcome to the Old Park Wood website - a resource for woodland owners and anyone interested in this special landscape, located 4 miles east of the village of Goudhurst in Kent.

The wood is approximately 450 acres in size and was formerly ancient mixed broadleaved woodland and heathland. Up until the late 1990s it was managed as a commercial enterprise providing coppice products and timber.

The wood is now owned by 28 private owners. In September 2006 the Old Park Wood Owners' Association was formed to encourage a co-ordinated approach to the conservation and management of the wood and to provide a forum for individual owners to meet.
